The ghosts of Pike Place Market
Thursday May 11, 2023
Thursday May 11, 2023
On today’s episode we are talking about just some of the ghosts you can encounter at the Pike Place Market, the world famous Seattle Market where they throw giant fish back and forth. It’s pretty freaking awesome. This place has such a rich history I am barely skimming the surface here, so I’m focusing on the ghost of Arthur Goodwin, the spirit that hangs around Ghost Alley Espresso, and the numerous ghost children that have been seen around the market, especially in the Down Under.
So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, maybe a Smog, which is an earl gray tea and espresso latte, I think that’s what I got when I was there, make sure the doors are locked, and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

Cape Disappointment and North Head Light Houses
Thursday Apr 27, 2023
Thursday Apr 27, 2023
On this week’s episode I am telling you about the dark history and hauntings of the Cape Disappointment and Northhead Lighthouses. These things have seen quite a lot of death in their times being in the middle of the Graveyard of the Pacific. One of the most prominent ghosts is that of Melancholy Mary who simply breaks my heart.
So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked, and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.
A little side bar about this week’s episode again, trigger warning. I’m not sure what it is about this episode. I have talked about some pretty dark things on this podcast but this one really got to me. I cried reading the newspapers, I cried writing it all, I’ll probably cry during recording. It’s a rough one, at least for me so bare with me and check in with yourselves to make sure you are ok to listen to such a sad story.

Flavel Houses
Thursday Mar 09, 2023
Thursday Mar 09, 2023
On this week’s episode we are examining the glorious, haunted houses of the Flavel family. One haunted by spirits and the other haunted by the last generation of the family, one member of which became known as Hatchet Harry. This is the story of family secrets and a mystery that endured for decades. There’s a lot of twists and turns in this one.
So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked, and the hatchet is close by. I have a story to tell you.
This week we are moving out of Portland and up the coast to Astoria, Oregon, a sleepy little town directly on the Columbia River that has the cutest population of very loud sea lions. It’s tucked up in a valley that leads right down to the waterfront where you can watch big freighter ships and little lead boats going up and down. As we drove into town we hit a pretty crazy rainstorm that apparently flooded out a lot of places in town but otherwise it was very calm, off and on sunny and then foggy. It was kinda hard to believe that we were right in the midst of the Graveyard of the Pacific. According to the Columbia River Maritime Museum, “Since 1792 approximately 2000 vessels, including over 200 large ships, have sunk at the Columbia River Bar. More than 700 people have lost their lives to the sea. Mariners agree that the combination of high seas, a mighty river, land shallow, and shifting sand bars make the Columbia River bar one of the most dangerous bar crossings in the world.” Considering the stories from the museum I don’t want to see it at it’s worse. That’s kinda the backdrop to this week’s stories.

Portland’s Witch’s Castle
Thursday Feb 23, 2023
Thursday Feb 23, 2023
On this week’s episode I’m taking you ghost hunting at the infamous Witch’s House in Portland. I didn’t think I would actually find so much on the history on this one but I found a treasure trove. Most of the hauntings appear to revolve around one horrible murder, which I found newspaper stories recounting the tale in graphic detail. I have had so many of you ask me if I got to go to this place after the Top 10 Haunted Bathrooms episode and I finally did. I loved this place. I didn’t get much in the way of ghost hunting down with the storms and random people around but there’s a little bit. Also I think this video will be one of the longest ones on Youtube and Patreon because we just kept getting more and more footage of this place because it was just so pretty and surreal.
So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked, and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

Meet Angela Hartshorn
Angela Hartshorn has been into the paranormal from a very early age, since she grew up in a haunted house. She grew up telling her family about a little girl in a red-checkered prairie dress and no one believed her. Not until a random woman her father worked with was hit by lightening and suddenly became able to see ghosts. One day she described the exact spirit Angela had told him about for years and he was floored. Since then Angela has been obsessed with hearing about as many paranormal experiences as possible.
