The Sallie House
Friday Oct 29, 2021
Friday Oct 29, 2021
This week I’m doing a case that scared the out of me as a child and stayed with me throughout my life, the Sallie House. I remember watching all about it on Sightings at the time and following the case. Sallie is said to be a little girl spirit that haunts a house in Atchison, Kansas at 508 N. 2nd street. Sallie isn’t a nice spirit. In fact, she would move toys, start fires and physically attack the residents of the house. These attacks, in the form of bloody scratches would form in front of eyewitnesses, and were even caught live several times.
So let's get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

The Wendigo
Friday Oct 08, 2021
Friday Oct 08, 2021
On this week's episode I continue the spooky Halloween episodes with another one that gives me the heebie jeebies, the Wendigo. A wendigo is an indigenous American evil spirit of the forests of Canada but can sometimes be found in the northern states of Minnesota and Wisconsin and according to a story I found online right here on Pikes Peak, so that doesn’t make me very happy. It was said that there was once a hunter that got lost in the woods and resorted to cannibalism to survive. He was cursed for this and started having an insatiable taste for human flesh that corrupted his body and mind. The Wendigo has become pretty popular in pop culture today but according to native americans it is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly because it is pure evil. In fact one of the translations I found for Wendigo is “the evil spirit that devours mankind.”

Resurrection Mary Part 1
Friday Oct 01, 2021
Friday Oct 01, 2021
This week I’m telling you the tale of the one and only, Resurrection Mary from Chicago. Her story is the classic hitchhiking ghost tale and the lady in white story haunting the roadway where she was killed. But Mary is a little different from most. She is a huge cultural icon. Her story has captured the imagination of thousands of people. She’s the lost soul looking for a night of happiness but the weird thing with Mary, unlike a lot of phantom ladies out there people believe they know who she was. There is so much research into her origin story, of course there’s differing opinions but we will go into that later. There’s some people that genuine believe that they knew her in life. It’s all just so fascinating. So for today, I’m focusing on how people usually encounter her in a story that is told over and over again.
So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

Episode Throwback: The Pickety Witch Rachel Powell and New Gloucester
Thursday Sep 09, 2021
Thursday Sep 09, 2021
For those that have been listening to the show for a little while you might have realized that we hit an anniversary! The podcast is officially 1 year old as of July 30th! We made it a year! To celebrate I’m doing a throwback episode, all the way back to I believe episode 2 with my very dear friend Rachel Powell of the Pickety Witch. I’m so excited about today’s story brought to you by the Pickety Witch. It has a little bit of everything. Ghosts with knives, a cleaning spirit, a phantom baby crying, and we even talk a little bit about the fae. This episode also includes our first EVP!
Rachel is also the featured artist in my autumn equinox subscription box! I have a ton of her Mabon pins, as well as spells about apples, some shadow work, there’s a lot of fun stuff in this box. I technically have two featured artists for this one because it has been so crazy I’m getting candles made by Brittany over at Faery Grove Candles for the Autumn Equinox Box and the Samhain Box! I’m so very excited for these. You can get your box at www.foggcouture.com

Boleskine House
Thursday Sep 02, 2021
Thursday Sep 02, 2021
This week I am going across the pond, all the way to Scotland, to the shores of Loch Ness, known best for the cryptid that lives in it’s depth. The Loch Ness Monster, or Nessie to her friends, has actually been spotted twice this last week. Seems appropriate to talk about the most notorious home in the Highlands, Boleskine House. Boleskine House is probably most infamous because Aleister Crowley once owned the home where he practiced one of his most famous rituals where he attempted to summon the 12 Kings of . The House was later owned by Led Zepplin’s guitarist Jimmy Page. But the house has always had a dark history.

The Devil Made Me Do It Case, Part 3
Thursday Aug 12, 2021
Thursday Aug 12, 2021
This week I’m finishing up my deep dive into the Devil Made Me Do It Case. It’s amazing to think that after two episodes we still haven’t gotten to the murder and court case, spoiler alert, there’s a murder coming. I left off last week with Ed and Lorraine Warren coming in to help the Glatzel family with David’s possession and trying to convince the church it was time for an exorcism. I realized when I was editing that I had like three different pronunciations of the Glatzel family name. Sorry about that. I was immensely tired when recording but I don’t think that should happen anymore. This week I go into the murder, the case, and what happened to everyone after.
So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

The Devil Made Me Do It Part 2
Thursday Aug 05, 2021
Thursday Aug 05, 2021
This week I’m continuing the story leading up to the Devil Made Me Do It Court Case. We left off last week with poor David Glatzel fighting against the demons trying to possess him and his family trying their hardest to help him when they could. This is when famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorriane Warren arrive. This week's episode is a Warren heavy episode. I start with some of their background and then go into their involvement with the Glatzel family and later the exorcism. I was able to find old interviews with Ed and Lorraine so you get to hear the story directly from their mouths.
So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

Meet Angela Hartshorn
Angela Hartshorn has been into the paranormal from a very early age, since she grew up in a haunted house. She grew up telling her family about a little girl in a red-checkered prairie dress and no one believed her. Not until a random woman her father worked with was hit by lightening and suddenly became able to see ghosts. One day she described the exact spirit Angela had told him about for years and he was floored. Since then Angela has been obsessed with hearing about as many paranormal experiences as possible.
